About Us

SafeSpace staff are a varied individuals with a mass variety of skills, experience and positive contribution to offer to our families. They are also very aware that the process and circumstances of admission to a residential assessment centre may not be reflective of the family’s wishes and choices.

Whilst working with families, all SafeSpace staff give families regular time for journey consultation and support the families developing their choices for the future.  Families will be given regular, weekly contacts to discuss their progress and share this via a CatchPoint meeting with the Local Authority social worker to bridge any gaps in communication.

Staff are fully trained to deliver and  support parents accessing a variety of educational and supportive interventions such as domestic abuse programme, budgeting and life skills, mental health awareness, neuro development and attachment, housing and financial assistance support.
